Ophelia –
The bark quality is 10/10, but a quick warning for DIY crafters: this stuff is as hard as wood.
Noah Beckett –
A very high quality product that was packed and shipped very quickly. I have always had a good experience with this company. Communication throughout the purchase is excellent as well..
Wesley Dalton –
You can instantly tell this is authentic harvested bark from Oaxaca/Chiapas. The inner root bark has that distinct, deep reddish-brown color and characteristic earthy aroma. It is far superior to some of the lower-grade, lighter barks sourced from other regions.
Orion –
Because chopped root bark has sharp, woody edges, cheap plastic bags always get punctured and leak during shipping. This supplier uses ultra-thick, puncture-resistant Mylar bags that arrived completely intact and perfectly sealed.
Jamie Blair –
The ordering process was incredibly smooth. The vendor shipped it out the next day in a plain, heavy-duty cardboard box with a secure inner vacuum seal. Tracking updates were provided the entire time, and it arrived right on schedule.
H Cheyenne –
I use traditional vegetable tanning methods for my handmade leather goods, and this Mexican chopped bark is phenomenal.
Sawyer –
Buying the whole chopped bark online in bulk quantities is a massive money-saver for my small craft business.
Benjamin –
You can instantly tell this is premium Mexican source material by the deep, rich purple color throughout the fibers.
Szymon –
Received my order in Germany just 7 days after purchasing.
Finley –
I always prefer the whole chopped format over fine powder. It is much easier to manage during the extraction and straining phases of the dyeing process. It doesn’t turn into a messy, sludgy paste, making the cleanup after boiling significantly easier.
Zuri –
I’ve ordered from other suppliers where the bag was filled with handfuls of loose soil, rocks, and sand from careless harvesting. This vendor clearly washes and sorts the root bark before chopping. It is incredibly clean, pure inner bark.
Colton Beau –
Even shipping to the US was seamless and fast, with clear tracking provided the entire way.
Charlotte Rose –
Fast, discreet, excellent product.
Tucker –
Bought a small bag to teach my kids about natural, historical dyes used by indigenous cultures. The chopped pieces were clean and easy for the kids to handle while we prepared the dye bath.
Quinn –
I left half of my bulk bag sealed in a dark, climate-controlled closet for nearly a year before getting around to my next project. When I opened it up last week, it was just as potent, dry, and fragrant as the day it arrived. Highly stable product.
Austin –
The chopped format is excellent because you can actually see the wood grain and verify it isn’t diluted with fillers.
Big Sage –
Very good at the speed the product arrived and the product was of adequate quality
Peyton –
Keep in mind that “whole chopped” means you are getting literal pieces of dense tree root. If your specific crafting project requires a powder consistency, do not expect a standard kitchen blender to handle this. You will need a heavy-duty mill or a cast-iron manual grinder.
Rhys –
Top quality mimosa, will buy again =)
Pax –
Infused this chopped bark into an oil base to make a traditional batch of natural, exfoliating artisan soap. It gave the bars a beautiful, earthy aesthetic and a lovely natural color without needing any synthetic pigments or fragrances.
Cruz –
I was worried about moisture retention during shipping, but the bark arrived perfectly cured and bone dry. There was absolutely no signs of moisture or mold inside the vacuum-sealed packaging. It snaps cleanly when bent, which proves it was dried correctly.
Axl Jagger –
I am always nervous about consistency with raw agricultural botanicals, but my second bulk order from this Mexican source was identical to the first. The dye saturation, dryness, and cut size were completely uniform.
Liam –
The packaging was highly discreet and perfectly vacuum-sealed, keeping the chopped bark completely dry and fresh.
Jett –
Absolutely no outer trunk wood or gray debris mixed in. This is 100% pure inner bark.
Luna Avery –
The documentation included notes that this is sustainably harvested from mature trees without killing the root system. Supporting ethical farming matters to my business, and the premium quality reflects the care put into the harvest.
Brooks –
I used this chopped bark to dye a batch of organic cotton t-shirts. The pigment concentration is incredible. It yielded a gorgeous, rich purple hue that didn’t wash out or fade after multiple cycles. This is easily the highest-quality Mexican variant I have used.
